About

If you're struggling with anxiety, OCD, or the weight of stress that feels hard to manage on your own, I want you to know that you don't have to figure it all out by yourself. I'm a licensed psychologist in New York and a nationally Board Certified Behavioral and Cognitive Specialist, and I work with people who are ready to feel more like themselves again.

I've spent years training therapists and teaching in academic medical centers and universities, but what I love most is the clinical work itself—sitting with people in real moments of struggle and helping them find their way forward. My background in supervision and leadership has deepened my understanding of what makes therapy truly effective, and I bring that thoughtfulness into every session. I believe good therapy is both compassionate and grounded in what actually works.

My Approach

I specialize in working with women and girls navigating the specific ways anxiety, OCD, and stress show up for them across the lifespan. That might mean early-onset puberty and the emotional upheaval it brings, premenstrual anxiety or dysphoria that disrupts your month, perinatal anxiety or OCD that makes new motherhood feel overwhelming, coping  with birth trauma, caregiver burnout, or managing the mental and emotional shifts of perimenopause and menopause. These experiences are real, and they deserve real support.

I use evidence-based cognitive and behavioral approaches because they're practical and they work. In our sessions, you'll learn skills you can actually use—ways to interrupt anxious spirals, challenge intrusive thoughts, and build resilience in the face of stress. I'm direct and down-to-earth, but also warm and collaborative. Therapy with me is a partnership, not a lecture, and my goal is always to help you feel more capable and more at ease.

My areas of focus include anxiety disorders, OCD, stress-related conditions, and the full spectrum of women's mental health concerns. I work with adolescent girls, women in their reproductive years, new mothers, and women in midlife. If you're dealing with hormonal shifts, life transitions, or the particular pressures that come with caregiving and being a woman in the world, this is a space where those experiences are understood and taken seriously.
